Fashion month is in full swing (currently in Milan), and I have been glued to my Instagram and Snapchat feed completely in awe over the latest runway looks. From the fun prints and avant-garde cuts seen at Proenza Schouler to the dreamy combination of lace and ruffles seen on the runway of Rodarte’s latest show, I can happily say; I have received my fashion fixe for the season.
Meanwhile back at home, I’m gearing up for fall and in turn prepping my wardrobe. Though the catwalk certainly has me inspired, rarely do I see items that fit in my closet let alone my everyday life. Not even does J.Crew’s collection from New York Fashion Week seem at all accessible or wearable. So, where’s a girl to shop this fall? Enter Nisse.
Headed by Canadian Designer Nargisse E. Akyuz, Nisse is a Montreal-based ready-to-wear women’s brand that I can’t seem to get enough of. On the runway and off of it, the brand’s designs are functional and totally wearable for the modern working woman – exactly what I’ve been looking for! Do I have your attention? Here’s everything you need to know:
